10 on 10: December

Stayed at home with a cold today so I was really thankful for 10 on 10 today.  It gave me a chance to appreciate the beauty that my husband and I have created in our own home.  The holiday season always seems to make the house feel just a bit warmer inside.

Sorry about the shaky hands, it's a lot harder than it looks! We are well on our way of moving a few things in.  It's pretty easy when you don't have much to move :)

Keys

We get the keys tomorrow!! How exciting (and fast!) this whole process has been!  Thanks for following along with the process of our house, we are celebrating with pizza tomorrow night in our new (and very empty) home.  Now we just have to fill it...

House Update

Well we 9 business days or so away from having our house complete.  Crazy, we know! There are still quite a bit of little details left, cleaning and touch-ups to be made but the house is really coming along nicely.  We are so happy with the options we have chosen and it has been exciting to watch it all come together.

On a sunny day this view includes Mt. Si.  Thanks to the house on the right choosing the 1.5 story model.  Scott says we should bake you cookies to 'thank you' for not taking our view away!

What a week!

We just got back from our house and we are blown away.  The changes this past week really started to show the details that both Scott and I picked.  It has been so exciting to see that our decisions that we made in the showroom from little sample pieces look great.  The house is really starting to come together.  Next week Scott’s parents will be in town so they will finally be able to see our new home for themselves.  It’s hard to imagine that our home will be done in about one more month!!

Rooms

Sorry for the delay of house updates, but the recent changes don’t show much in pictures.  We finally have walls up and a garage door.  Even though in person we can see the changes made everytime, it is hard to show in pictures.  This week we should start to see painting on the inside and possibly some millwork.  We won’t be out again until Sunday so until then…here are a few to tide you over.
